Due to any number of unforeseen hiccups - WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE. There's a lot going on in the world today, and there's likely to be more ups and downs between today and our wedding. We recognize that coming to our wedding will be a large expenditure for most guests, and don't want anyone to be caught off guard. Most airlines offer it upon booking but you can also shop independent carriers to find the coverage that's right for you! You might also find that your credit card covers it - so worth a check. Check out the link below for some independent insurers as well as tips on what types of coverage you should consider.

Update your Passport!

Some countries require that your passport be valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of your trip. Make sure your passport is adequate for your dates, and make sure you get a jump on renewal early as processing times can be up to 11 weeks!

Jerez De La Frontera (Airport)

This is the closest airport to Rota. Typically it is slightly more expensive to fly into this airport but it takes about 35 min to get to Rota from here.

Seville (Airport)

This is usually the cheaper option when traveling to Rota. It takes about 1h 22m to get to Rota from here (by car). Consider flying here and taking a train to El Puerto de Santa Maria where we can help coordinate pickup or a taxi.

This is a family affiliated hotel, and is the primary location for guests as we will be staying there too! We have a discounted rate for guests at this hotel - to get it, send an email with attention directed to Jesus Lopez at reservas@hotelplayadelaluz.com. State that you are with the wedding of Blake Worsley and Mallory Deneen, let them know which type of room you would like to book (visit their website below to browse the rooms), and provide the dates of your stay. We also recommend including breakfast with your reservation - it's worth it! Book soon to ensure you have a spot!

This hotel is a sister hotel of Hotel Playa de la Luz. If you are unable to get a room at hotel Playa, this is an excellent option!

Budget Minded Travel Tip

Typically we will search for the cheapest place to fly to in Europe using Google Flights (Link below), and then fly to Jerez De La Frontera or Sevilla from there. We encourage everyone who is coming from overseas to make a vacation out of it and visit another country on this trip. Why not spend some time in London while you are abroad? Doing so could lower the cost of your flight.
