WE're Getting Married!

Blake and Mackenzie have a unique love story that started only two years ago. Mackenzie has known Blake since the 6th grade but never really got to know him. Two years ago on June 5th, 2021 Blake and Mackenzie met again but this time on the dance floor of her cousin's wedding. Blake was only back in Ohio for two weeks but was hoping to catch the eye of a beautiful lady that evening. Finally, after dancing too close to Mackenzie for 2 hours Blake put his plan to work and asked a group of people on the dance floor to "shotgun" a beer outside. Mackenzie and a few others followed but what really caught Mackenzie's attention was Blake's Bud Light spraying all over her bridesmaid's dress. To this day she doesn't know if this was on purpose to get her attention or if it was a happy accident. Throughout the rest of the wedding, they talked and danced and finally Blake got the guts to ask her on a date. Their first date was at The Bottle Shop in Columbus, OH, and the second date Mackenzie tried to cancel but her sisters told her she had to go. With only a few days left in Ohio, Blake and Mackenzie had their third date and went Kayaking and that's when Blake decided to extend his trip...a little longer. When Blake left Ohio to head back to Pensacola Florida, he left at the LAST POSSIBLE SECOND driving 12 hours through the night with his 115-pound dog Odin. On his way home, he called any friend who would answer and tell them "I think I met the one..." Blake made it just in time for check-in and while Blake was driving home, Mackenzie was booking a flight down to visit. Her first visit was exactly 30 days later. She was supposed to stay a week but stayed three and their love story started to unfold. Since that first trip, Mackenzie went back to Florida too many times to count until a year later they got engaged. Blake proposed at Mackenzie's favorite record store, Spoonful Records, where her sisters and she used to go every Sunday. Blake and Mackenzie got to celebrate their engagement and then moved Mackenzie down to Pensacola where they would live together until finding out their next destination would be Norfolk Virginia. This is where their story brings us but we cannot wait to see what the rest of their lives look like together...
