Kyndol has always looked up to her Daddy. Being the first born, she followed him around and wanted to be like him. When she was younger, she never wanted to be known as a "girly girl" so to prevent being called such, she learned how to be "one of the guys" from him. She has many of her fathers talents within her, along with his strong will and passion for projects. Kyndol's father has always been her rock and a guide for problem solving when it comes to her creativity. Their relationship can be summed up in one song, "Daddy's Girl" by Red Sovine (feel free to look up). Kyndol would have chosen it as the song for their Father-Daughter Dance but she was worried it would make her cry away all of her make-up!

Mother of the Groom

Blake, for lack of a better term, is a "mama's boy" simply for the fact that anybody can see how much he loves his mama. That being said, its just as obvious how much she loves him and how she would and has done anything and everything she possibly could for her son. When he was little he would always stay right up under his Mama. Blake will be the first to tell you how blessed he is that God gave him to her and how much he appreciates all that she has done for him throughout his life. He wouldn't be where he is today without his mother's endless support for him.

Stacia Ennis

Mother of the Bride

Stacia is Kyndol's Mother but she is more than that to Kyndol, she is Kyndol's closest friend. Kyndol often doesn't make too many moves or life decisions without first consulting her mother's advice because she treasures it. Sometimes it is difficult for Kyndol to listen to her mother's good advice because of their differences in style and design, but mostly because of Kyndol's strong will. Stacia prayed for a child for many years before she was blessed with a daughter. This may be one of the many reasons the two have such a close relationship. Kyndol will often tell you that she cherishes their relationship and she would never take it for granted.

Scott Stalnaker

Father of the Groom

Some may meet their bests friend later in life, but Blake has known his since he was born. There is nobody that he looks up to more, or inspires him more than his dad. Most of Blake's hobbies and interests have trickled down from his dad, from his love of Atlanta Braves baseball to his choice of career path in construction. No matter what, Blake always knows that his dad is proud of him.

Madison Sloan

Maid of Honor

Madison is Kyndol's cousin who has always been more like a childhood sister. You wouldn't be able to count the number of times they played with Barbie and Baby Dolls together. Kyndol remembers in particular the stories they would act out as they dressed Barbie up in what was once a dress with two straps into what had become a single-strapped wedding gown (the only wedding gown outfit they had) and walk her down the aisle to her Prince Charming. They still have a close relationship to this day, and now mostly hang out on long road trips to visit their grandmother or go out to eat at Zoe's Kitchen.

Dylan John

Best Man

Blake met Dylan in college through their shared major of construction management. Dylan is from the nation of Sri-Lanka which Blake did a school project on once, so he thought it was really cool to meet somebody from there. In fact, Blake thought it was so cool that he let Dylan talk him into joining his fraternity. Dylan would later be known as Blake's "Big Brother" in the fraternity. Over the years, Dylan has been a best friend, spiritual advisor, inspiration, and professional mentor to Blake. Now he can add Best Man to that list.

Claudia Ennis

Matron of Honor

Claudia is Kyndol's "sister from another mister". Kyndol met Claudia in high school when Claudia began to date her brother Caleb, although she feels like she has known Claudia since childhood. Right away Kyndol knew Claudia was different and had stolen her brother's heart. Kyndol knows God could not have picked a better fit to be her sister, oh and Caleb's wife. Kyndol and Claudia share a love of Chicken Salad Chick, the tv show Friends, and they can often be found together jamming out to "Come on Eileen" by Dexys Midnight Runners.

Caleb Ennis

Groomsman

Caleb also happens to be Kyndol's brother, but its worth mentioning that even when Kyndol and Blake weren't together, Caleb was still like a brother to Blake too. Caleb and Blake were already close friends before Blake started dating Kyndol, so that only made their relationship grow much stronger. Through the ups and downs of life, Caleb and Blake have never had to look far to find each other when they needed a hand. Its only fitting that these two can soon officially call themselves "Brothers".

Hannah Sloan

Hannah and Kyndol met in a math class during their Sophomore year of High School. They had so many common interests, such as a love for DIY crafts, camping, and horses, that it didn't take long for them to become great friends. Hannah told Kyndol one day in school that she was interested in a guy named "Parker Sloan" who just so happened to be Kyndol's cousin. When Parker and Hannah began to date, Kyndol could see how happy they made one another. So happy in fact, that they have now been married for almost 4 years. Today, Kyndol and Hannah still manage to catch up at family get-togethers and Hannah's annual Christmas Party.

Parker Sloan

Parker has been one of Blake's best friends for as long as he can remember. The two were in the same grade throughout school and always had sleep-overs that involved more Xbox and card games than sleeping. Now that they are older, there are less sleep-overs and video games, and more talks about stock portfolios. Parker and Blake never have to worry about going too long without seeing each other though, because they can always just catch up at the next family gathering since Parker and Kyndol are cousins.

Kelley Allen

Bridesmaid

Kelley is the fun redhead of the bunch. Kyndol and Kelley met at Claudia's Bachelorette Party back in 2019 where they learned that they share a love for classic romance movies and naps! With Kelley's sweet personality and compassionate spirit, it didn't take long for her and Kyndol to become friends. From sharing some dance floor moves at Kelley and Jay's wedding, to a fun Halloween outing with friends, Kyndol and Kelley become closer friends with each celebration.

Jay Allen

Groomsman

Jay is one of Blake's oldest friends and confidants. Jay has always been in Blake's corner and a rock for him to lean on when times in his life have been tough. No matter how far away they have been from each other, or how much time has passed since they last talked, Jay has always been as true and loyal of a friend to Blake as anybody could deserve. Jay has also been one of the most encouraging and supportive friends of Blake and Kyndol's relationship.

Erin Duncan

Bridesmaid

Kyndol first met Erin at Erin and Trevor's wedding. Kyndol loved every little detail of Erin's wedding and knew they had a lot in common from seeing her wedding decorations. Throughout the years of getting to reconnect at other events, Kyndol and Erin have grown close. Erin is easy to talk to about anything and has a great sense of humor. Kyndol and Erin share a common interest in the love of planning, short girl problems, and prefer shopping in person, not online!

Trevor Duncan

Groomsman

Blake met Trevor through Parker when they were all much younger and over the years they have become close friends. Blake doesn't get to see Trevor too often because he now lives in Alabama, but the two talk almost every night. Whenever Trevor does come around, you can expect it to be quite a memorable experience. Maybe that is a reason why he has been a groomsman in all of Caleb, Jay, Parker, and now Blake's weddings.

Katie Hudgens

Kyndol and Katie have been best friends for 15 years! They met in 5th grade at an Easter party at the church in Howard, Georgia and they have been close ever since. Kyndol and Katie would have slumber parties regularly where they would listen to Billy Gilman CD's and go to sleep with the second Willy Wonka movie playing on the TV. Kyndol to this day still doesn't know why that movie was always on the TV! Through the years, they have always been there for each other no matter how far apart they have been. Katie and Kyndol both share an interest in the Pirates of the Caribbean and Hockey.

Marshall Smith

No wedding party would be complete without Marshall Smith. Blake and Marshall met through a church youth group and spent weeks together every summer at different camps. Throughout the years, Marshall would periodically invite Blake and several other guys to sleepovers at his house that consisted of man-hunts style Hide & Seek, large boxes of Honeycomb cereal, low-quality Netflix movies, and card games in his basement. Marshall promised to buy Blake a new Xbox for Christmas and has yet to follow through with that promise.

Savannah Sloan

Savannah and Kyndol met the day Kyndol was born, since Savannah is Kyndol's older cousin. They have shared so many milestones together it's hard to keep count. When they were little, Kyndol and Savannah loved to watch underrated movies together like, "The Goonies" & "Flushed Away" with their family. Kyndol has always admired Savannah's "never give up" attitude and looked up to her while growing up. Now that they're older, they hang out when they can, mostly in the summer, by taking trips to get peach ice cream and listening to old school light rock on the way!

Derrick Ramage

Groomsman

Derrick was one of the first people that Blake met in college at Georgia Southern. Over time, the two would become almost inseparable. They joined the same fraternity their freshman year and eventually served as President and Vice President. After a brief time apart following graduation, the boys decided to move out of their parents' houses and live together for a couple of years in Atlanta while they sorted out the post-college life.

Pastor Tommy Beeland

Pastor Tommy Beeland has been a close friend of the Ennis family even before Kyndol was born. He has been in Kyndol's life since she was born. He has been Kyndol's pastor since her High School years. He also became Blake's pastor when Kyndol and Blake became High School sweethearts and is currently their pastor. He has witnessed Kyndol and Blake's relationship as it has changed and grown over the years. Tommy and his wife Allison have been a blessing to Kyndol and Blake and have encouraged and counseled them as they have been planning their wedding. Kyndol and Blake share many common interests with Tommy and Allison and find it comforting that their personalities are similar to their own. Kyndol and Blake are grateful to have Pastor Tommy to perform their wedding ceremony.

Joel Snider

Groomsman

Joel may be the only person Blake ever convinced to join his fraternity. The two would become close through various fraternity events. So close in fact, that after Blake graduated, Joel would let him sleep on his couch, sometimes for weeks at a time, whenever he would come back to visit Statesboro. Joel himself graduated, got married, and moved into an apartment with a spare bedroom that would end up becoming Blake's for a short period of time. Now that Blake is about to be married himself, it is uncertain whether the slumber parties with Joel will continue.
