Cole and Blake have been best friends since they were 8 years old where they met on a youth football team. They never went to the same school growing up, but they always found a way to stay in each other's lives. They share a once in a lifetime bond and will be friends throughout all stages of life. Blake and Cole have had so many memories over the years, including playing D1 football at CSU, joining the same fraternity, living together all four years of college (the Dorms, The Loud House, and the Slant Shack), and traveling around the world with their significant others. They love talking football and drinking beer together and that will likely never change!
Nicole Bunck
Maid of Honor
Nicole and Kayla met their junior year of college at CSU when she started dating Blake's best friend (and now best man!) Cole. It was the first weekend of school, and Blake and Cole were leaving to go out of town for the weekend on a boys' trip. Nicole and Kayla didn't know each other well, but they decided they didn't need the boys and went to a party their fraternity was hosting together! The rest was history - they spent the next two years of college together every weekend. After graduation, the four of them traveled around Europe and have taken several other trips in the US including the family lake house in Nebraska! They are lifelong friends and can't wait for all the adventures yet to come.
Cody Wessbecker
Groomsman and Officiant
Cody is Blake's oldest brother, Groomsman, and the Officiant of the ceremony! Blake and Cody were always close growing up, and he has been a great role model for Blake. Blake didn't talk for the first 4 years of his life and only communicated through Cody (aka Augie!). As they have grown up, they have become even closer and spend a lot of time together. They love to go to sporting events, out to eat, and play golf. Cody and Kayla have also created a very special relationship over the years and love to give each other a hard time, which is why it is so fitting that he will be the one marrying the two of them!
Baylee Olejnik
Maid of Honor
Baylee and Kayla met their junior year of high school through club volleyball. It was a rocky start at first when Baylee got hit in the face with a volleyball on the first day of practice and Kayla laughed at her.... but they quickly realized how much they had in common and have been bestfriends ever since. Baylee and Kayla went their separate ways for college until their junior year when Baylee transferred to CSU. Kayla introduced Baylee to her new college friends, and Blake introduced her to his fraternity brothers, and she quickly settled in! Kayla and Baylee were roommates their senior year of college and have kept in close touch since graduation. They love to shop, try new restaurants, and travel together. They often get mistaken as sisters... but at this point, they basically are!
Garet Bergeron
Groomsman
Garet is Kayla's brother and Blake's Groomsman! Blake and Kayla have visited Garet and his wife, Meagan, in Raleigh and have gone on several other beach vacations together. Garet and Blake both love to talk about sports (specifically the Broncos) and go golfing together. Blake already has two brothers but he is excited to add another to the mix!
Meagan Bergeron
Bridesmaid
Meagan is Kayla's sister-in-law as of September 2021! She is such a wonderful fit for Garet and the entire Bergeron Family. Kayla has always dreamed of having a sister, and her dreams have finally come true! Blake and Kayla have visited Meagan and Garet in Raleigh and have vacationed together in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Sarasota, Florida! They love to explore new places and hang out on the beach drinking mimosas together!
Micah Gibbons
Groomsman
Micah and Blake met through their fraternity freshmen year of college at CSU. They became close friends and lived together their junior year in the "Slant Shack". They survived the year of the skunk attack and were President and Vice President of their fraternity their senior year. Micah has always been such a loyal and caring friend. He and Blake have kept in close touch since graduation and love to go camping and spend weekends together at the family lake house in Nebraska!
Juliette Talarico
Bridesmaid
Juliette and Kayla met their freshman year of college at CSU. They lived on the same floor in the engineering dorms. One day while Kayla was struggling with her homework, Juliette popped in to say hi and realized Kayla was in need of help. She whipped out her calculator, and the two of them finished the assignment together. They quickly became good friends and spent a lot of time together in college whether it was hammocking at Horsetooth Reservoir or partying on the weekends. They have stayed in touch after graduation and get together as often as they can for brunch meet ups and nights out on the town with their other friends from college.
Jared Klos
Groomsman
Jared and Blake met in high school and played football together. Jared is one year younger than Blake and decided to come to CSU for college. Blake introduced Jared to his fraternity bothers and convinced Jared to rush Phi Kappa Tau and quickly became great friends. The two of them shared many great memories in college, including living together at the "Slant Shack", having a firework war in their house, and being on the Exec. Board together for their fraternity. They have stayed close since graduation and enjoy hunting and camping (and sports betting) together.
Casey Ambrosier
Bridesmaid
Casey is Kayla's cousin on her mother's side. The two of them have been two peas in a pod from the moment Casey was born (just 10 months after Kayla!). They enjoyed the more "girly" things growing up and loved to play dress up, play with babies, and go shopping with their Nonie together. Although Casey and Kayla are cousins, they have always shared a special friendship that has only continued to grow as they have gotten older. Even living in separate states, they have always found a way to connect and be an important part of each other's lives.
Marc Wessbecker
Groomsman
Marc is Blake's younger brother. Blake and Marc are 6 years apart in age, but as Marc has gotten older he has become a witty and smart young man who never fails to make Blake and the rest of the family laugh. Blake has been a role model in Marc's life in many ways, but the two of them have especially bonded over their love for football. Blake has attended (almost) all of Marc's football games and has helped to guide him in his football career. Even though they are far apart in age, they truly share a special bond.
Peyton Wessbecker
Jr. Bridesmaid
Peyton is Blake's cousin on his father's side and Kayla's Jr. Bridesmaid! Peyton and Kayla became very close when Kayla and Blake first started dating in high school. Kayla and Peyton bonded over girly things, especially at the lake house and Lake Powell where Kayla would give Peyton a new hairstyle everyday. As Peyton has gotten older, she has become such an intelligent, beautiful, and caring young lady. Kayla has always had a special place in her heart for Peyton and knew she wanted her to be a big part of the wedding day!
Charlie May
Flower Girl and Comedic Relief
Blake and Kayla had been dreaming about getting a Golden Retriever for years! Just a few months after moving in together their dream came true. They went to "look" at puppies not necessarily expecting to take one home (yeah right) but when they met Charlie they knew she was a perfect fit. She turned their lives upside down for a while during the puppy phase, but they quickly created a special bond and became a perfect little family. Kayla and Charlie are besties.... they love to snuggle all day everyday! Blake is the alpha of the house and Charlie knows it... but she also has him wrapped around her little paw. Blake and Kayla could not imagine their lives without Charlie. She has brought so much happiness into their lives and they couldn't imagine their wedding day without her!
