If you plan to stay in Bear Lake for the weekend, we would suggest booking ASAP as this time of year fills up quickly. There are not any hotels in the Bear Lake area so check with airbnb.com or vrbo.com for rental properties. Logan is only about 50 minutes away and has several hotels to choose from.
The wedding and after party will be held at Legacy Beach. This is a gated community so we will have someone at the entrance to let vehicles in. There is limited parking within the complex so we suggest parking across the street from the Legacy Beach entrance and walking over. Street parking may or may not be an option as well.
NONE! In fact we want everyone to be as casual or dressed up as they want to be! This is a beach wedding after all, so shorts and flip flops are encouraged. For those that want to stay awhile, we suggest bringing a swimsuit or a change of clothes for beach activities. The clubhouse has bathrooms to change in.
Do you even know Blake? YES!!! We will have a FOOD TRUCK immediately after the ceremony for all-you-can-eat street tacos (vegan friendly for some of us), chips/salsa, salads, and drinks. PLUS at Kat's request, NO CAKE so dessert will be a fun twist. And if you know us, you know us, so there will be both leaded and unleaded beverages available! ***Please be a responsible adult and plan accordingly if you plan to indulge***
We have an amazing photographer to capture the day for us, so please put your phones away and enjoy this long awaited event with us. Your presence is our present. **But if you do take any pics please share with us before posting**
If you plan to stay for the weekend we would suggest checking out North Beach (best beaches if you get there early), hike Bloomington Lake, visit Minnetonka Caves (super cool but LOTS of steps and pack a jacket), Paris Ice Caves, grab a raspberry shake at LeBeau's, rent bikes at the Bike Barn, or check out the go-carts or ropes course.
