We're getting married!

I invited Blake to Charleston, SC to the grand opening of an event space that I had the honor to help design. I thought that would be the highlight of our trip.... but Blake, being a Marine officer, had a full blown operation planned, even enlisting my parents to help carry out the mission. The following day began at brunch in historic Charleston within a beautiful courtyard. Towards the end of our meal, Blake had pink roses delivered to our table and the waiter offered us champagne and dessert on the house. We then walked around the city & through the market. After that, he drove me to a surprise destination.... We arrived at Magnolia Plantation where we encountered a peacock, beautiful flowers, and spanish moss hanging from the large trees. After we toured the plantation, Blake drove us to a restaurant on Sullivan's Island. There, we enjoyed a romantic dinner during which Blake had another bouquet of red roses delivered to the table. After dinner, Blake & I walked to the beach to watch the sunset. As the sun lowered in the sky, Blake got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!
