FAQ

Question

Is the wedding postponed due to COVID-19?

Answer

Unfortunately, yes. The wedding venue has decided to reschedule our wedding and many others while concerns over virus run high. Everyone who previously RSVP'd is warmly welcome to join us on June 14th for the wedding of our dreams; same time of day, same place.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please send in your RSVP cards and/or mark yourself and party (if indicated on the invitation) on this site by February 18th, 2020. The venue requires a seating chart and the number of people in attendance affects our floral contracts.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

We recommend taking an Uber to the venue but if this is not possible or preferred please download the ParkStAug app, follow the prompts and park/pay near the venue. There is a lot behind the Case Monica just blocks away and there's a small lot across the street from O.C. White's next to the venue. Please do not park in O.C. White's parking lot. If you stay at the Casa Monica, valet is part of your stay.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal/Semi Formal: Please avoid wearing white; Suits and modest dresses are most acceptable. No shorts or flip flops. There will be a little bit of walking and stairs so wear comfortable shoes. (elevator available for guests who require it)

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3 in the afternoon. We ask that guests start to arrive at 2:30 and are seated for a prompt 3 o'clock ceremony.

Question

How late will the reception last?

Answer

The reception is scheduled to end at 7:30 with a sparkler send off taking place immediately after. We invite everyone for an informal after party at the Casa Monica Hotel Bar/Lobby following the send off.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Please do! And mention it on your RSVP card. We'll have kids packets available by the Guest Book table at the reception. Toddlers and small children may wear whatever keeps them comfortable and makes your life easier. We do ask, however, that any crying children be removed from the ceremony as to not interrupt.

Question

What if I want to give the couple a cash gift?

Answer

Thank you so much! There will be a receptacle for cards at the Gift Table. Using the online cash option on this site costs you money and we get less of it after fees!

Question

I cannot come to the wedding but would like to send a gift.

Answer

We will miss you and thank you for your genorosity! Please address gifts to 12144 Silver Saddle Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32258

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one you are welcome to bring a guest. Please speak to the Bride and Groom at least 3 months prior to the wedding if you'd like to bring someone who was not included on your invitation. If you opt to come alone, please indicate that on the RSVP. Should you have a plus one the wording on the invitation envelope will read "[Your Name] and [Guest Name]".

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

By February, 2020 please let the Bride know what your food restrictions are so the menu can be set in advance. For anyone Gluten Free, that's already taken care of.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not. However, the hotels recommended are within reasonable walking distance or a cheap Uber ride to the venue.

Question

Do you have Hotel Blocks?

Answer

Yes at the Double Tree, Historic District. Use Code LBW https://secure3.hilton.com/en_US/dt/reservation/book.htm?inputModule=HOTEL&ctyhocn=USTSMDT&spec_plan=CDTLBW&arrival=20200327&departure=20200330&cid=OM,WW,HILTONLINK,EN,DirectLink&fromId=HILTONLINKDIRECT
