Jeremy had not even settled into Philadelphia for 2 days when he stumbled upon his curly-haired future wife on Coffee Meets Bagel (which are actually his favorite things to drink and eat). Blake suggested they meet at a bar a half block away from his apartment so he wouldn’t get lost on the way to meet her. Their first date consisted of fun conversation, ciders and cheeses, and two days after that, Jeremy sent Blake a video of a camel on Broad Street to say “what up?” Fortunately, she agreed to go out again and the rest is history.

After having been stuck in the apartment/hospital for months, Blake and Jeremy planned a hiking getaway to Saratoga Springs in September. Jeremy suspiciously ordered a selfie tripod to the apartment a week before and subsequently the apartment started to smell like nail polish. The day after arriving in Saratoga Springs, waking up to Jeremy's alarm at 6:30 AM, Blake asked Jeremy if she should take a shower before the strenuous hike ahead and he sternly said that she would be happy she did. She had a feeling today might be the day and she decked herself out in Gore and SoulCycle gear. Upon getting to the trailhead, Jeremy's plan to be the first ones at the top of the mountain hit a speed-bump; he noticed the other early-risers were older, but were unfortunately not slow climbers. Forcing Blake up the mountain at a close-to-running speed with no breaks allowed, Jeremy was waiting at the top of the mountain with a small box, but barely could catch his breath to say "Will you marry me?"
