We met at a sand volleyball night, our friend group would head to sonic on most weekends while it was still nice outside and play! We had played in the spring as well but it wasn't until fall that we caught each other's attention :)

Blake asked Jaymi to do "homework" but we both knew it was more than that. We managed to get a bit of homework done but the rest was us chatting away. Our next date was on Jaymi's birthday. He took her to ice cream and we talked for hours (we then went again later that night with some friends but we all know Jaymi is an addict.)

We went on some small dates but Blake wanted to do something special for this one. We went to downtown Kansas City at the Crown Center. Walked around, ate good food, saw pretty lights, almost went ice skating and did what we loved - talked and got to know each other more. In the middle of this amazing date Blake asked if she would be his girlfriend!!! (She said yes!)

What Jaymi thought was a fun friend get together turned out to be the night of her dreams. We went over to our friends house only to find no one was there, we then walked out the back door to find around 50 of our friends lined up in the back yard yelling "happy birthday" (to throw Jaymi off haha). He surprised her with her family being there and then got down on one knee and asked if she would spend forever with him. (She said yes again)
