We know you may have a few questions as we get closer to the big day, and we’re here to help! This section covers all the important details to ensure you’re well-prepared and can enjoy the celebration without a worry. When should I RSVP by?

Please confirm you attendance by 30th June 2025 using the form linked on this website. Please reach out to Blake or Hollie if you experience any technical difficulties.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at The Mill Barns for 1pm, ready to take your seats. Those that arrive later than 1:15pm, will not be able to be seated. The ceremony start time is approx 1:30pm

What time does the wedding finish?

Answer

The wedding celebrations will finish at 11:45pm. The venue will close at midnight.

Can I stop at the venue?

Answer

Whilst we would love to host everybody the night of the wedding, the venue hosts a limited amount of rooms - in which these have been reserved for the wedding party and parents only. Accommodation is available locally.

What is the dresscode for your wedding?

Answer

In creating a memorable atmosphere for our wedding reception, we kindly request that you dress in formal attire. For gentlemen, this typically entails suits or dress pants paired with collared shirts and ties. Ladies, we suggest cocktail dresses or elegant separates. We ask that you avoid overly casual attire such as jeans and trainers, and avoid black suits where possible.

Can I bring a 'plus one'?

All attendees will be addressed in person on the invitation only.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We will be having a child free wedding, with the exception of our niece and nephew who form part of the wedding party. Thank you for understanding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Mill Barns will host both our ceremony and reception. There are two car parks available on site, in which we have exclusive access to, free of charge. The only request is that all vehicles are removed from the ground by 9:30am the following day, should you wish to leave you car overnight.

Are we able to order food at the venue?

Please note that The Mill Barns do not serve bar food; if you’d like a bite to eat before making your way over to us we can recommend these nearby establishments: The Fox Inn at Stourton The Royal Oak at Alverley The Red Lion Inn at Bobbington

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We aim to cater for all allergies and dietary preferences. Please make us aware so we can acomodate your requests.

Does the venue have wifi?

Answer

The Mill Barns provide Free WiFi throughout for your convenience. Due to the venues rural location there is very little network phone coverage at The Mill Barns, so it is recommend you enable WiFi calling if you can, and ensure taxis or transport is booked in advance.

Cash or Card?

Answer

Please note, the Mill Barns does not accept cash as a form of payment. Cards only.
