Our story started as a very modern day blind date. Hayley was introduced to Blake through her sister, Elyse, and her husband, Jon. Upon asking Elyse to set her up with one of Jon’s friends, it turned out there was just one option… Blake. Safe to say, they’ve definitely earned their place in the bridal party. Not long after, we met for ice cream at Messina in Sydney. Despite the rain and miserable weather for ice cream, we ended up spending hours talking and getting to know each other. At the time, Hayley was living and studying in Canberra while Blake was living and working in Sydney, and the distance quickly became a part of our story. Friday afternoon drives up and down the highway turned into a regular routine, as we made the most of every chance to see each other. What began as a simple introduction soon grew into a relationship built on friendship, laughter, and shared adventures, ultimately leading us to where we are today, excited to celebrate our marriage surrounded by the people we love most.
