We're Celebrating Our Union!

We met at Navy Federal through a mutual friend. The story is too long for this section! Just know that 2 total opposite strangers, whom one thought he would never date someone like me, and whom the other thought she's got no chance at all... fell completely and madly in love with one another. But one of us kept forgetting to propose! LOL!

Sunday morning we woke up, both feeling absolutely terrible. Blake woke up with a swollen eye and I woke up feeling like a water balloon, and cramping terribly. We both watched church from online, then Blake had to run out to purchase a few items and some Bloat and Gas relief pills for me. I stayed in the couch under the blankets with a heating pad, watching "How to refinish furniture." I looked a hot mess, and felt awful, but I asked him if he would like me to go with him and he insisted on me staying home and "feel better". So I did not put up much of a fight and so I said ok. He left and was gone for a while, but I did not really noticed. He comes home, puts the stuff away and gets me some water so that I could take these pills, and then he comes back and says, "I have 1 more thing for you." I looked over as he got down on one knee holding something in his hands. He says, "Will you marry me?" I went into shock, I burst into tears and could not catch my breath, I managed to ask if he was being serious... he said "yes." Then I said "YES," and I thanked him. WE ARE ENGAGED AND I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! I keep asking him if this is really real! I am going to be Mrs. Sturgeon! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
