Please keep in mind that the Offshore Powerboat Races are the same weekend as the wedding, which means it will be a FUN weekend in Key West, but there is very limited availability at local hotels; be prepared to book soon! Unfortunately, rates are much higher than normal-thanks, leap year! You can visit wolftravels.com/KeyWest for Cara's recommendations and assistance booking. If you're interested in a B & B, this list is the most comprehensive: bedandbreakfast-key-west.com. American, Delta and United all fly to Key West International Airport (EYW). You can also fly to Ft. Lauderdale or Miami and rent a car to drive down on the Overseas Highway; about a 3-4 hour trip. Or you can fly to Ft. Myers and take the Key West Express ferry boat, which is a 3 .5 hour trip; people only, no cars and book early! You do not need a car in Key West; the Reach is only one block from Duval Street and most attractions are within walking distance or a very short Uber/Lyft/taxi ride away.
