Sam and Blake met in sixth grade when they were assigned to the same homeroom with lockers right next to each other. A special thanks to their middle school guidance counselor, Mrs. Roman, for that. The two quickly bonded over their mutual annoyance with all of their classmates (sorry to any of you who are reading this). That year Sam could often be found helping Blake open her locker and carrying her books around after she sprained her ankle. Since the two were in most of the advanced courses, their schedules were almost identical over the years so they continued to spend time together. While Blake is now a big football fan, she secretly hated going to the football games during middle/high school and only went to spend more time with Sam. They also texted constantly about anything and everything. After years of being best friends, the two (finally!) officially started dating on January 5, 2018 during their sophomore year of high school. They stayed together for the remainder of high school (they're still a little bit mad that they weren't voted high school sweethearts) and ultimately decided to go to Robert Morris University together for college. At the end of 2022, they moved into their first apartment together and in 2023 they adopted their two cats, Tiffany and Clementine. Sam proposed in Montreal, Canada on December 20, 2024 and of course Blake said yes! They started wedding planning right away and can't wait to spend their special day with all of their family and friends.
