Blake and Erin first met through mutual friends in the summer of 2013 in Willoughby, Ohio. They quickly realized they had a lot in common and formed a close friendship. Even when Erin left the state for college, Blake made sure to stay in touch—always cheering her on and supporting her dedication to school. In the summer of 2019, Erin moved to Erie, Pennsylvania, and Blake saw the perfect opportunity to turn their long-time friendship into something more. He was so excited to take her on that first date. Not long after, Blake made the move to Erie to be with her, continuing to support her as she chased her career goals. Their love only deepened with time. As their relationship grew, so did their little family. In their first townhome, they welcomed their two beloved cats, Miss Greg and Milo. Then, in the summer of 2021, they purchased their first home together—a cozy fixer-upper full of potential. Just a month later, Blake got down on one knee and proposed! Since then, they’ve continued building a beautiful life side by side, adding even more love with the arrival of their sweet pup Mina and another rescue kitty, Tilly. Through every chapter—big and small—they’ve stood by each other, growing stronger together. Now, after years of laughter, love, and snuggles from their pets, they’re so ready to make it official and celebrate this next adventure with all the people they love most!
