FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st. This allows us time to communicate with our vendors, order the right amount of food, and prepare accordingly! You can RSVP on the tab above.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are parking several parking garages near the venue. During our wedding, there are some spots in the World's Fair Park North Lot (1040 World's Fair Park Drive) adjacent to the Museum of Art. We also recommend the following, which are free or reduced on the weekends: - Locust Street Garage (approximately 1 block from the park)- $Free - UTK's 11th Street Garage (approximately 1 block from the park) - Market Square Garage (approximately 3 blocks from the park)- $3 - Langley Garage (approximately 3 blocks from the park)- $Free - State Street Garage (behind the TN Theatre and a 10 minute walk)- $Free - All City Owned Lots Are Free All Weekend - Parallel Street Parking in the Fort Sanders Neighborhood is Vast and Free - Parallel Street Parking Downtown Is Metered on the Park Mobile App and Not Recommended, Neither Are Any of the Private Owned Pay Lots. We do not recommend parking at any of the hotels as they charge up to $40 a day and are surrounded by free parking lots and garages

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 3:30pm in order to park and be seated in time. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The suggested attire is Summer Semi-Formal - Think a bit more formal than a family reunion but not quite what you would wear to an awards show. Please note the wedding and reception are outside and on grass. Ultimately, please be dress comfortably!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We listed the names of all those invited on your invitation and on the RSVP section of the website. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Blake or Alissa.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We know how difficult it can be to travel with or without your kids. Feel free to make the choice that works best for your family. Being in an open and public park, we kindly ask that you are attentive to your kids during the ceremony and reception.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer
