Our Story

It was love at first swipe.

Josh swiped right. Olivia swiped right. And instead of just sitting there waiting for fate (or a Tinder message) to do its thing, Josh took initiative and messaged Olivia on Facebook—because nothing is more romantic than crossing social media platforms. A few short days later, Josh showed up for their first date in a rusty old Chevy truck that definitely had “character.” He picked Olivia up and took her to a movie—because nothing says “let’s get to know each other” like sitting silently in the dark for two hours. Still, something just clicked. Was it the charm? The truck? The popcorn? Probably all of the above. From that first swipe to this very moment, it’s been a wild, beautiful ride—and thankfully, no more Facebook messages were involved. Since then, Josh has upgraded not only his truck, but also his girlfriend to his fiancée at their annual Ugly Sweater Christmas Party on December 16, 2023. Again, romance is clearly Josh’s strongest suit. And just when they thought they had everything figured out, they decided to keep everyone on their toes and get married—totally unexpectedly—on March 4, 2025. After waiting nine very patient years they figured it was finally time to make it official. Because why not, right? Who needs a traditional timeline when you’ve already found the one? So, here we are: a long (seven years to be exact) overdue engagement, unexpectedly married, and definitely ready for this wild adventure together. But don’t worry, they’re not done yet—there’s a “wedding part two” coming on July 18, 2026. Why? Because after waiting nine years to finally have their "little" wedding in March, they thought, "Why not make everyone wait a little longer?" Now we get to celebrate with all the bells, whistles, and probably a few too many drinks on year ten.
