Kiley was on her senior year spring break visiting 30A while Blaise was out at Chiringo’s on a Friday night. Blaise approached Kiley asking, “Are you from here?” and she immediately responded, “Yes!” After laughing and Blaise realizing she was very new to the area, they spent the entire evening chatting. Kiley soon had to return to Arizona for her last few weeks of college, but they stayed in touch the entire time with many FaceTime calls and texts. Finally, they met up again on Grayton Beach for the Fourth of July to watch the fireworks and began going on dates. Almost exactly two years later, Blaise took Kiley back to Grayton Beach for the proposal—with a firework show to end the night, just like it all began!
