While some might have shied away from a first date on Friday the 13th, I, a horror movie fanatic, was all for it! And thank goodness for that because we had the best date ever... even though he was 45 minutes late! My wonderful cousin, Chris, convinced me to wait it out just a few minutes longer and I couldn't be happier that I did. I knew we were meant to be when he took me to all my favorite places without even knowing it! I mean, Starbucks AND Applebees? What could be better? I felt an instant connection with him that I hadn't ever experienced before. Three apartments, a house, and five cats later... we are still inseparable! He's my best friend and the love of my life! ~Kristina It's crazy to think that one conversation can change your life forever. Although I made her wait 45 minutes for my arrival on our first date, the first thing I said when I saw her was "Wow". As that date went on, I remember it feeling like a breath of fresh air to be able to connect with somebody and really have a good time. When I picture back to that date, I may not remember our exact conversation, but I'll never forget the way she looked at me, because, I've never had anyone look at me like that before. ~Michael

Kristina made a last minute decision to go away for a long weekend. She booked a cute little house on AirBNB and told Mike to pack his bags because it was time to take a little vacation. She didn't notice his bags were a little heavier than usual. On the second night of the trip, Mike asked Kristina to get a fire started outside. While she was busy and concentrated on building a nice fire, Mike was frantically getting the living room set up for the moment neither of them would ever forget! He called her back inside and she walked in to find rose pedals covering the floor, a big light up "Marry Me" sign and her (former) boyfriend down on one knee asking her to marry him! And through tears of joy, she happily said yes!
