It was a typical summer day with a fun group activity planned - SIX FLAGS! We had all been looking forward to this day as it had been set for about a month. It was BEAUTIFUL and SUNNY outside - perfect weather for the festivities planned :) We arrived in little groups, meeting up around 5 or 6pm. Sean, John and I had arrived first and I was already stuffing my face with churros when all my friends happily greeted us. We quickly caught up and laughed together before heading off to ride all kinds of roller coasters. When we got to Mr. Freeze, I started getting a tad suspicious because I caught a few people taking my pictures but brushed it off pretty quickly as we got on the ride! Little did I know as soon as the sun went down everyone was frantically waiting for Sean to find the perfect spot. Clueless, I went along as we walked for a bit not knowing where we were going just lost in blissful ignorance and suddenly we stop. Sean pulls me aside, "Can I talk to you for a minute?" At first I immediately thought I was in trouble and was apologetic but as he shuffled me to a little secluded area I started to become a little aware of the situation. He then started expressing just how much he loved me and how much I meant to him and then I KNEW!! I was bubbling over with joy as he got down on one knee and asked the traditional question, so much so that I also went down with him because my legs just couldn't handle it. It was AMAZING. I grabbed the ring from him (he wasn't expecting that) and said YES! :) Apparently we had gathered a crowd and everyone clapped! (I honestly barely remember anything going on around us). I hugged all of my friends and thanked them for being there for our special moment :) Then we all happily headed out of the park to a prearranged engagement party at my best friends house! It was the most magical moment ever.
