Answer

Yes! Wedding Day Schedule is below: 4:00 - 5:30 PM: Cocktail Hour Join us for drinks and light bites as we welcome our guests and set the tone for a memorable evening. Please note, 4:00 is a general arrival window—feel free to arrive anytime between 4:00 and 5:30. During this time, we’ll also be taking group family photos. 5:30 PM: Dinner Enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. 7:30 PM: Transition to the Meadow As the evening continues, we invite guests to make their way to the Meadow in preparation for the ceremony. 8:00 PM: Wedding Ceremony A heartfelt celebration of love and commitment. Following the Ceremony: Dessert and Dancing Celebrate with us as we indulge in sweet treats, and dance the night away!

Answer

River Mountain and Everett are about 25 minutes outside of Bedford and Breezewood in south central Pennsylvania.

Will there be a shuttle to/from the wedding?Will there be a shuttle to/from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged for a shuttle to drive guests to and from the Holiday Inn Express Breezewood and River Mountain. There will NOT be shuttle stops at the other hotels. There will be two trips at the beginning of the evening, leaving the Holiday Inn Express Breezewood at 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm. There will be three trips at the end of the night to go back to the Holiday Inn Express Breezewood leaving at 9:30 pm, 11:00 pm, and 12:30 am.

Yes! There is a large parking lot when you enter the property.

Can I use Uber or Lyft for transportation?Can I use Uber or Lyft for transportation?

Answer

Yes and no. This event is taking place in rural Pennsylvania and ride share apps are not always readily available. Uber is more likely to be available if you schedule it ahead of time. Lyft is not reliable in this part of the state. We would recommend having a backup plan if this is your first choice of transportation. See above for information on complimentary shuttle busses :)

Answer

The dress code is Dressy Casual Suggested attire includes: sundresses, cocktail dresses, slacks, khakis, polo/golf shirts, button-downs, sport coats (optional), ties (optional) **This venue is primarily outdoors with some uneven terrains. We recommend wearing flat, comfortable shoes.

Answer

Yes, this is a child-free wedding. The only exception is for children that are involved in the wedding ceremony.

Answer

No, you are not required to stay at River Mountain. We will be reserving a room block at the Holiday Inn Express Breezewood. We also recommend the Omni Bedford Springs Resort, the Fairfield Inn Bedford, and the Hampton Inn Bedford. Please see the "Accommodations" tab for more information!

Answer

You do not need camping equipment to stay at River Mountain. They provide beds, linens, towels, lighting, tools, wood, lighters, clean running water, full functioning bathrooms, and full kitchenettes with food to purchase. You only need to bring personal items, clothes, and maybe a headlamp for your own convenience.

Answer

Yes! River Mountain provides a continental style breakfast for their guests every morning, and you are able to order lunch and/or dinner through your reservation at an additional charge. Additionally, if you are staying at River Mountain on Friday night we will provide a light lunch and snacks on Saturday before the wedding events begin. You're welcome to bring any food or beverage that you want, but fridge or freezer space may be limited.

Answer

Yes! Bring tick and mosquito repellant, and sunscreen for your personal use. We will be providing some bug spray and lotions around the property as well. This event is primarily outside, so please check yourself for ticks at the end of any prolonged time outside. Your safety is our number one priority!
