Ryan and Blair met in San Francisco and went on their first date on November 8, 2018 to a local wine bar, Howell's. The two immediately had chemistry, great conversation, and bonded over their mutual love for travel. Having both been at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany twice in two years, Ryan asked Blair out on a second date before the night was over to a local German beerhall - full Oktoberfest attire optional but encouraged! Blair was immediately smitten and overtaken with Ryan's charm, sense of humor, and great smile and Ryan knew this California girl was different from the others. The two continued to date seriously and despite covid and long-distance work travel, have come out stronger than ever. Ryan proposed right before their 4 year anniversary on November 5, 2022 on the roof top of their apartment building in San Francisco, CA. While Blair thought the plan was to go to dinner at their friend's house that night, Ryan had other plans up his sleeve. He suggested they go to Howells, their first date spot for a glass of wine to celebrate a private moment between the two of them. Little did Blair know, Ryan had planned a surprise engagement party with all of their local friends and family. It was the perfect and most special day to celebrate their love and start of a new chapter. Ryan and Blair are so excited to see everyone in September to celebrate their love with all of their favorite people!
