Half Moon Point, December 2017. Blair was searching for a job when a spot opened up at Half Moon. She went in for an interview and the next day received a call from a deep voiced male manager who told her she had the job and would begin training that Friday night. Enter Matt Pawlak. Blair did not entertain the idea of dating her manager, just in case of a breakup making work awkward. Obviously that did not end up stopping them from going out together socially which led to dates which led to spending basically every waking moment together and loving every second of it.

It seemed like any other day. Matt and Blair went for a walk in Bay Head like they usually do. As soon as they walked onto the beach Blair began beachcombing, picking up stones and driftwood pieces. She was so into her hunt she did not realize how quiet Matt was being. He had barely spoke all morning besides trying to get her to leave in the morning in a timely fashion. Mid walk down the beach Blair realized Matt had stopped walking. She turned around to find Matt down on one knee asking her to marry him. Without a question in her head she said the easiest yes of her life! After giving Matt a million kisses and hugs, she turned around to find three of their friends running down the beach with a camera, champagne and glasses, ready for a toast to celebrate the future Mr. and Mrs. Pawlak
