When is the wedding?
Answer
Blair and I got married in an intimate ceremony in Virginia Beach on September 28th with a few immediate family members. However, this event in March is the party to celebrate and bring our families together for a great weekend of fun and laughter. We are so looking forward to spending time with all of you!

When/How did you two meet?
Answer
We met on a dating app called Hinge. Blair commented of a picture of Jess and her cat Ling ling at the start of the pandemic in May of 2020 and the rest was history.

When will I be able to book a room at Ancient Lore?
Answer
Now! The rooms are currently blocked off for our wedding party and available to book! Please refer to the "Travel" section for directions on how to book your room for the celebration! Please let me know if you have any problems or if it is saying everything is sold out!

Do I have to stay at Ancient Lore Village?
Answer
Absolutely not! We would love to have everyone on property but we understand that it is not for everyone for one reason or another. Also, they may not have enough rooms to accommodate everyone in our group. There are other accommodations nearby and you will still be welcome to the various events throughout the weekend even if you do not stay at Ancient Lore.

What should I wear?
Answer
I encourage everyone to dress in whatever way makes your inner child the happiest. Blair and I love renaissance fairs, dungeons and dragons, harry potter, and all things magical and fantastical! Ancient Lore is all about imagination. You want to be an elf? a fairy? a gnome? a dragon? Go for it! Find that thing you've always wanted to wear but never had a good excuse! This is it! We are so excited to see everyone embrace the creativity and have a little fun!
