Blair and Nikki met at the gym. However, they weren't working out at the time...they were sitting at the smoothie bar #classic. Once Nikki started telling Blair about her plan to become a sex therapist and Blair started talking about the sh*tty guy she was seeing at the time, they vibed. Nikki has always given Blair great advice, and keeps it real with her, which Blair appreciates...even when she doesn't. They have spent many happy times together including going to the Grammy's and eating food. A lot of food.

Michael Clark

Best Man

Hamza and Mike met through friends at a local gym in Philly. They started doing mixed martial arts together and quickly became friends, sharing good times while devouring wings at Mad Mex after breaking a sweat because...balance. While they don't get to see each other as often as they'd like, they always pick right back up where they left off. Mike has been there for Hamza over the years, always rooting him on and serving as a much-appreciated support system. Hamza is grateful to have Mike's support as he embarks on this next chapter of marriage.

Blair and Megan met in kindergarten, making Megan, Blair's oldest friend. From roller skating and playing school in Megan's basement, to birthdays, first loves, and forever loves, Blair and Megan have gone through it all together. (Let us not forget the one season Megan "played" basketball on Blair's team or their attempt at gymnastics that was captured on home video to remind them that they should probably never try gymnastics again.) Megan has always had the uncanny ability to make Blair laugh -- often uncontrollably and at inappropriate times. No matter where life has taken the two of them, Megan will always be family.

Hamza and Tommy met through Blair and Tommy's wife, Megan. With many (often nerdy) shared hobbies and interests, Hamza and Tommy hit it off right away. Whether enjoying dinner out, hanging with Tommy's adorable son, Walt, or Tommy, who has his private pilot's license, taking Hamza for a flight #CheckOneOffTheBucketList, they always manage to have a good time. While they haven't known each other for a very long time, their friendship has been nothing but easy and enjoyable. Hamza is extremely grateful to call Tommy a friend and is honored to have him stand by his side on his wedding day.

"Lea" and Blair met at her brother, Jason's graduation from his medical residency. After a slew of "interesting" girlfriends, Blair was not expecting much. However, when she met Lea she was blown away by her; it was just natural. From their weird obsession with the movie Frozen, to their weird obsession with T-Swizz, to their weird obsession with having weird obsessions, Blair and Lea have shared many wonderful memories. Like that time Blair lived in the city and they got stuck in the rain with plastic bags for shelter... #goodtimes Blair can't imagine a better sister-in-law and is excited to share yet another great memory with her.

Jason, Blair's older brother, and Hamza met at her parents' rockin' NYE party in 2020. In fact, the party was so good it shut down the rest of the year (ba dum cha!). Since they weren't able to see each other during the pandemic, they initially got to know one another a bit more through Zoom. But once restrictions let up and Hamza and Jason were able to spend more time together, Hamza really got to know his future brother. He admires him for his insane work ethic, but mostly for always making family a priority. They have had many great conversations and Hamza looks forward to the many more that are to come.

Ebony Dix McClure

Blair and Ebony met when they were both in the wedding party of a mutual friend, Brittney (also a bridesmaid). While they didn't know each other until a little later in life, Ebony became like a sister to Blair. Ebony has been there for Blair through more than she can even express -- with words of wisdom, love, and cheese. A whole lot of cheese. Blair can always count on Ebony to cheer her on through the ups in life and support her through the downs life may throw, but always with love and levity. Ebony is also to thank for Blair's (and now Hamza's) love of all things truffle. They plan on being fabulous old ladies someday when they share a nursing home.

Hamza and Alex met at the gym in 2016, when they were both working out. They began talking after helping one another with a set #swolemates. Their time working out together soon turned into hanging out together outside of the gym. Since Hamza was looking to change jobs, Alex helped Hamza to find a good one -- working with him. The fact that Hamza and Alex remained friends even after working together speaks to the strength of their friendship. Over the years, Hamza has watched in admiration as Alex has grown into the roles of husband and father. He is grateful to have Alex by his side to celebrate such a special time in his life.

Blair can't remember life without Brittney in it. Their dads were friends before they were born, and so Brittney and Blair have known each other their whole lives. Blair has always looked up to and had fun with Brittney. From regular Sunday Eagles games to trips to Crystal Cave and Six Flags, to annual Thanksgiving Day parades, Brittney and Blair have shared so many childhood memories #SpinThatBalloon (iykyk) But it didn't end there...from nights out, to weddings, to the birth of Brittney's two beautiful girls, Brittney has been and always will be like a sister.

Brett is Blair's first cousin whom she lovingly refers to as her "cousin-brother" because she thinks of him as more of an older brother. Sharing many family holidays, get-togethers, and food over the last couple of years, Hamza has really enjoyed getting to know Brett. He enjoys his fantastic, completely non-sarcastic sense of humor #sarcasm and really enjoys talking to him about everything from sports and current events to quirky Kaplan family traditions. Hamza looks forward to celebrating many of life's milestones together.

Zineb Bouirdi

While they say that age is wisdom, that doesn't apply to Zineb, Hamza's (and soon-to-be Blair's) younger sister. There is little that brings Blair greater joy than watching Zineb school him -- about pretty much everything #micdrop. Blair is in awe of Zineb's bright, beautiful personality and zest for life! Zineb always makes Blair laugh and smile and although they live on different continents, Zineb plays a big part in Blair's life. She is so grateful to share many memories with Zineb for years to come and so grateful to have her new sister stand by her side on her wedding day.

Hamza and Kashief met when they were both in the same economics class in college. [We'd put in an economics joke here, but there's just not enough demand... ;-)] At the time, Hamza spoke very little English but Kashief was always patient with him. While they may have spoken different languages they both valued the same things: real friendship and hard work. #Imahustlerbaby Kashief has always had Hamza's back and Hamza is so grateful that Kashief has remained part of his life. Hamza really respects Kashief as a business man...and as a man in general. No matter how much time goes by between when they catch up, they always pick right back up where they left off. Hamza is really excited to have Kashief as a groomsman on his special day.

"Roz" and Blair met when Roz moved into the same brownstone as Blair in the city. They became fast friends due to their ability to talk about anything -- and everything. Roz has made a big impact on Blair in many ways. Her straight-shooting personality and ability to fix just about anything has served to make Blair a stronger, more independent person (she is now able to handle bugs on her own...well, some bugs). They have shared so many memories from morning chai on the stoop, to nights out, to that one time they blew up an inflatable pool on the sidewalk to enjoy their day because they couldn't go anywhere #covid, Blair always has a blast with Roz, who makes life fun no matter the situation.

Hamza and Mike met through a mutual friend way back in 2018 BC (Before Covid). They immediately got along and enjoyed one another's company. Since Hamza is from Morocco and Mike is from Greece, they both had an unspoken understanding of what it's like to move to the U.S., the "land of opportunity" -- but also what it's like to face the true hardship of trying to learn the difference between words like read and read, how the past-tense of "cut" is "cut," and why "sh*t" is bad, but being "the sh*t" is good #perseverance While they don't see each other all the time, Hamza and Mike have the type of friendship that picks right back up where it left off. They look forward to it picking back up again on Hamza's wedding day.

Amy and Blair technically met in kindergarten although neither has any recollection (however there is photo evidence). They actually met in 9th grade when Blair joined BBYO and then realized their earlier connection. Blair truly admires Amy for always marching to the beat of her own drum -- and for her ability to pull off winged eyeliner (truly remarkable). Blair is grateful to have Amy back in Philly once again and looks forward to sharing many more of life's milestones together -- but now with Hamza.

Hamza and Omar met back in the day...February 14, 1994 to be exact. They have shared many things over the years, starting with their parents (seeing as how Omar is Hamza's younger brother...) As they grew up though, they became more than just brothers...they became best friends. #NowThereWere2WolvesintheWolfPack Whether playing sports or video games, watching the tv series, Manga, or getting into fights (with others -- or each other), Hamza and Omar could always be found together. Hamza wishes he saw Omar more often, but knows that he is only ever a phone call away. He couldn't be happier to celebrate such a special day with his best friend by his side.
