Mackinac Island
Mackinac Island is an island and resort area, covering 3.8 square miles in land area, in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located in Lake Huron, at t he eastern end of the Straits of Mackinac, between the state's Upper and Lower Peninsulas. This would be an all day excursion. Head over and rent bikes, hike, dine. It is beautiful!

Hidden River is just one suggestion, there are TONS of courses in the area. From stunning water views, to rolling hills, to magnificent designs by some of the world's greatest golf designers, it is here in the Petoskey area. Pros shops, driving ranges, putting greens, 18 hole and 9 hole courses are throughout the Petoskey area. So be sure to book a tee-time!
Tunnel of Trees
The "Tunnel of Trees," the M-119 Heritage Route traveling from Harbor Springs to Cross Village, is a stunning display of northern hardwoods located very close to the roadway, creating the feeling of traveling through a tunnel. The route is a favorite of Northern Michigan visitors because of its rolling terrain, stunning vistas, and dramatic turns and curves.
