Ours is a modern-day love story; as many couples do, we began as a match on Hinge. Cody was intrigued by Blair's story of sneaking her turtle into the Phoenix Zoo's turtle pond and Blair was hooked on Cody's smile and kind eyes. Our first date was at Luci's at the Grove on July 22, 2023. We were so deep in conversation we failed to notice the employees wiping down tables and stacking chairs; eventually the waitstaff had to inform us that they had be closed for a while now. From that moment forth, we tried to see each other every chance we could. Date nights included mini golf, billiards, trivia, movies, arcades, and lots of sushi. Within a few months we had already made a in-state trip down to Tucson to see our schools face off in their last pac-12 meeting: UofA vs Washington. (A note from Blair: UW won 31-24; Go Dawgs!). We could have fun doing anything, as long as it was together. Before we knew it, we were becoming best friends, madly in love. Fast forward to 2025: • We are living together (gasp) • Got engaged within sight of the Siene • Bought our first home together • Are planning our dream wedding together
