Formal attire! Dress to impress in your best garden party style formal outfits. For the guys, full suits or button up shirts with slacks would be appropriate (no jeans, khakis, or shorts). We have a hotel block nearby at the Courtyard by Marriott. See the “Travel” page for more information on booking. We encourage you to book at this hotel or one of the 3 hotels next door to the Courtyard, as there will be a shuttle available to and from the venue.
We have arranged a shuttle to transport guests between the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and the wedding venue. The venue also has plenty of parking, and they don’t mind if you leave your car overnight.
There will be parking available at the venue, with a relatively short (and scenic) walkway through the vineyard and to the ceremony/reception areas. You can find a map of the venue on the "Schedule & Venue" page. For those who may need extra assistance and would prefer to skip the walk, please let us know in advance so that we can provide you with drive-up and drop-off instructions.
Please plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45pm to give yourself plenty of time to park, grab a welcome drink, walk to the ceremony, and find a seat! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.
We ask that you honor our "unplugged" ceremony and keep phones off and away. We've hired very talented professionals to capture the ceremony and would love for our guests to be fully present in the moment! Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as your heart desires (and make sure to share with us)!
We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation and listed in the RSVP. Thanks for understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions!
Ladies, please avoid wearing white, ivory, champagne, cream, or light yellow to help the wedding party stand out!
All events will be held outdoors (the reception will be covered). We can't wait to celebrate on a gorgeous Michigan summer day with you all!
