Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a spacious parking lot on site. Guests are welcome to leave cars overnight in the parking lot if they are unable to drive. Please pick up any left vehicles at a reasonable time the next day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 2:15PM. Guests will be taken on a short wagon ride back to the ceremony site. We want to make sure there is enough time for everyone to be transported before the start of the ceremony. There will be a golf cart to transport any guests who may need special assistance.

Is there a bathroom at the ceremony site?

Answer

Yes, there will be a humble porta-potty near the ceremony site. It is highly encouraged that guests use the restrooms at the reception area before they are transported back to the ceremony site.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. This is an outdoor event. There are walkways but grass, dirt, and gravel as well. Ladies and gents please choose shoes accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! Please make sure younger children are being supervised by their caregiver at all times, so that everyone in attendance can safely enjoy all the activities. There will be a live animal park, playground, bonfire, yard games and more. ***Explicit music will be played during the reception***

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

All hotels will be 20 minutes or more away from the venue. Due to the MSU football game scheduled for this same weekend, many in East Lansing are already booked.
