FAQs

The Wedding Website of Blaine Harvey and Margaret Finaly
Question

When's the RSVP deadline and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 15th to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably! You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name as indicated on your invite, and mark your attendance.

Question

How may we address the newlywed couple?

Answer

- Mrs. Margaret Finaly & Mr. Blaine Harvey - Please note that Margaret is not changing her last name, therefore, kindly avoid address us as Mr. and Mrs. Harvey. Margaret adores her last name and does not wish to alter it.

Question

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at our venue, we can only accommodate guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

While we adore your children, our wedding is a 21+ event. It's important to us that parents have night off to be able to celebrate us and boogie the night away!! We thank you for making arrangements for this request.

Question

Where is the wedding ceremony & reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be in the yard of Margaret's childhood home.

Question

Why does the wedding invite say Rural Hill, but the address provided says Hermitage?

Answer

Gerrymandering is the reason why! Rural Hill is an unincorporated part of Wilson County, south of Mt. Juliet and southeast of Hermitage proper. While the address says Hermitage, Rural Hill better describes the exact location of Margaret and Blaine's wedding venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

- End of Summer Colorful Cocktail - We hope to look back at our wedding photos and see the full color spectrum present! Most importantly, we care that you're comfortable in the clothes you're in so nothing holds you back from joining the dance floor!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be entirely outdoors, on grass. Please wear appropriate footwear! Dinner and dancing will be underneath a sailcloth tent. Please be cognizant that it'll be late-summer weather with that good ole Tennessee humidity!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

We STRONGLY encourage you to rideshare or carpool to our wedding, as the neighborhood has very limited parking. Please be kind and considerate of our neighbors and do not park on both sides of the street.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes! Your presence is gift enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous, we ask that in lieu of physical gifts you kindly contribute to either our honeymoon fund or our future house down payment fund. Details on how to do so are provided on our registry page. We have a tiny apartment and we promise we have all the pots & pans we need!

Question

How early can I arrive to the venue?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony; 5PM at the earliest.

Question

Are there accommodations near the venue or hotel blocks?

Answer

There are several hotels near the venue (please peruse the Accommodations tab). There will not be hotel block accommodations, as some guests may wish to stay closer to the heart of Nashville. We'd be happy to give you recommendations anywhere around the Nashville area!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

Hey, screenagers! Get off yer dang phones!!! We want y'all to be present and not experience your evening through a screen. Open your peepers and take everything in--our photographers gotcha covered.

Question

What menu options will be available for those with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Our dinner will be buffet-style, offering a couple of proteins, various veggies and gluten-free options. Kindly let us know if we should be aware of any dietary restrictions if not accommodated that may prevent you from enjoying your evening to the fullest.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes!

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

In respect of our neighbors, the end of the reception will be at 10:30PM. That doesn't mean the party is over though!!

Question

Where's the after party gonna be at?!

Answer

If you're still wanting to rock your dancing shoes, we're gonna boot scoot over to the bars in East Nashville to keep the party going!

Question

Hey! I don't see the answer to my question!!

Answer

Please reach out to Blaine or Margaret and we'd be happy to answer any of your questions!
