We both share a deep love of travel, and choosing a destination for our intimate elopement was no small task! There are so many incredible places in the world. But again and again, our hearts kept leading us back to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Something about the vibrant culture, peaceful energy, and wide open skies just felt right. We ended up getting married on a random Tuesday afternoon in October—which just so happens to be one of our favorite months of the year. The crisp autumn air, the golden leaves, and the magic of Santa Fe in that season made everything feel beautifully grounded and unforgettable. We wanted a day that felt relaxed, meaningful, and deeply us. We found the perfect spot: a private estate tucked into the hills, where we could celebrate, explore, and soak in the beauty of the moment. Our wedding day felt like something out of a dream. The weather was absolutely flawless- cool and cozy, with warm sunshine. A local private chef created a delicious brunch that we shared with a few close friends over coffee, music, and lots of laughter. For the ceremony itself, we wanted something deeply personal. We wanted something that reflected not just our love, but the life we’ve built together. We moved through four spaces on the estate, honoring the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water—with blessings, promises, and gratitude at each stop. It made every word feel sacred, grounded, and full of intention. Every part of that day still feels like magic to us. Santa Fe was everything we hoped it would be: soulful, joyful, and grounding. But as meaningful as our elopement was, we knew there was still something missing: celebrating with all of you. That’s why we’re so excited to gather with our family and friends for a celebration closer to home. We can’t wait to hug you, raise a glass with you, and share in the joy of this new chapter together.
