At Last

After being together longer than most people are married these days, we finally came to the conclusion it was time. It was really just a conversation. No set ups, no reveals, just a talk. You think we should? I don't know. It's a lot to plan. Do you want to? Of course. You know this is going to be news. Yeah, everyone is going to freak out. Well it has been a long time coming. So we are doing this, right? Hell yes. And there you have it. It will be 10 years and one month since we started dating on the day we marry. Nine years ago we made the leap and moved to South Carolina together. In that time we have had our triumphs and tragedies, some devastating moments and some incredible celebrations. These things have come from both outside and within. We witnessed with pride when rulings came up rainbows and embraced more of our society. Our journey has been a long one but one filled with life, friends, family, and great joy. Every one of you had a part in this journey. Now we invite you to have another part. Its been one hell of an adventure, and it will only continue. I don't think you could call it an engagement as much as a long overdue event that everyone knew needed to happen.
