Blaine and Becca have known each other since high school, but Becca had her eye on him first when he helped her with her makeup as part of his drama class for her choir’s musical they were performing when they were both at the middle school. Becca remembered the nice boy who helped her put on mascara for the first time and she tried to date him in high school but was unsuccessful. After high school, Becca went on to college and grad school at OU in Norman where she currently works. Meanwhile, Blaine had started a family and was working at Baity Screw Machine Products in Chickasha before moving away to Sapulpa. Becca had pretty much forgotten all about Blaine when her dad mentioned they were now working together. Little did she know, Blaine had been reflecting on their moments together while they were both in high school after having the chance to visit with her dad at work and realized he and Becca might have been great together if he had given her more of a chance when they were younger. Some things just take time though - in June 2021, they started talking again after Blaine reached out to Becca on Facebook and started dating in July. Blaine has since become Becca’s first and last boyfriend since he proposed to her at her 29th birthday party. Blaine and Becca now spend most of their days working, sleeping, spending time with Thea and Lydia, seeing family and friends, and getting lost in music. They can’t wait to move in to their new home in Newcastle and start their new life together.
