The Future Smiths!

Blaine and Riley met in fall of 2022 at a game night (fittingly on Husband Street in Stillwater), and they immediately knew there was something special about each other. After being arms-length friends for an entire year, sparks started flying during the summer of 2023 while they were working at separate summer camps in East Texas and texting more and more. Back in Stillwater, it only took 11 days – and a few dates at Texas Roadhouse, their favorite sunset spot, and Gallagher-Iba Arena – before they made it official. They've been attached at the hip ever since! On May 25, 2025, Blaine asked Riley to chase after Jesus with him forever at Cypress Waters. They can't wait to celebrate the joyful gift of marriage with you, and their hope and prayer is that, above all, their wedding and marriage would reflect Christ's love for His church!

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
