We had mutual friends on social media and after several years of intermittent minimal messages, seeing each other around town and having 1 class together in college that Blain didn't even remember lol. We decided to finally "meet" and hang out. January 2017 we met at Primantis for a beer and to watch a Pens Game. I brought a friend of mine at the time with me because I was so nervous. lol Blain probably talked to her more than me, but overall I thought we hit it off! I was living in Nashville attending school but came up frequently to visit as my dad still lived in the area for work. We would try and hang out as much as possible when I came to visit until 6.11.17, I went over to his house for the Stanely cup playoff game with him and some friends, which the Pens won! That night in his driveway he asked me to be his girlfriend! After about a month we decided to make it official with telling some more friends, family, and of course then making it social media official. After about 4 years of a veryyy tough long distance relationship, it was time for me to relocate back to Pittsburgh. We did things maybe a little backwards due to certain circumstances, but I think that's what makes our story even more unique and special. Now here we are 9 years later, with our beautiful son, Bennett. Now we finally get to make our commitment to each other and celebrate our love in front of God and with all of you! <3
