Matt and Nicole met on a dating app called Bumble. Nicole was scrolling through, definitely tired of the dating app scene. As Nicole was scoping out Matt’s profile, she read a prompt which stated his favorite dessert was carrot cake. This is also Nicole’s favorite dessert. She and Matt had "matched," but she did not initiate a conversation yet. On bumble, the female has 24 hours to start a chat. If she doesn't, the match will disappear. Nicole was out to eat with her family and almost forgot to send a message to Matt. Fortunately, Matt extended his time (although he was debating between Nicole and another girl. He made the right choice obviously.) Nicole started the chat by mentioning her favorite dessert was also carrot cake. Matt and Nicole shared their first date eating pizza at one of their favorite pizza places. When the waiter came with the tab, Matt jokingly asked if they had carrot cake (it wasn't on the menu). They surprisingly had carrot cake! The rest is history…
