Our love story started in 2021. One of our mutual friends was having a Halloween party and she wanted us to meet. I was expecting to see him and kept asking her... "well, where is he?" She responded "I am not sure I thought he said he was coming!" Obviously, I was like well that's just great he stood me up. We continued at the party and I was a little disappointed, but the next day she told me that he went to the World Series game with his dad to watch the Braves play. In hindsight, I am thankful that he was able to spend that time with his dad, but was also bummed out I didn't get a chance to meet him. Then, maybe a few days later, we connect on Instagram and the rest is history. He "slid into my DMs" (welcome to dating in the 21st century folks) and about a month later we formally met (finally) at a Friendsgiving and immediately realized our instant chemistry with one another. It was truly something magical and we are so thankful to have met one another. We've been through a lot and there's no way I could have made it through those challenging days without him. He is my best friend and I could not imagine my life without him by my side.
