Of course, we would love for you to take pictures of our special day, but we ask that you refrain from doing so during the ceremony. It is more respectful to us, the photographers we have hired, and the people around you when no phone is blocking the view. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post photos using our hashtag #oooSnapItsBlackwell
We are at capacity with our venue which means, sadly, we are unable to accommodate additional guests.
This is an invite-only event. While we wish we could invite everyone, we are limited in our venue space and have strategically invited those we hope to celebrate with. As such, RSVPs are limited to those who are listed on the invitations. If you or your partner cannot make the ceremony, please DO NOT bring uninvited guests.
As much as we love your little ones, we hope this is an opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day - kid free. If you need recommendations for baby sitters in Clemson, please let us know and we will provide those to you.
We are asking everyone to RSVP through our wedding website. When is the RSVP deadline? Please RSVP by September 1st, so we have plenty of time to accommodate all of our guests.
Due to the nature of the venue, we cannot stream our ceremony.
Our wedding is a semi-formal event. While we will be dressed to the nines for a night of celebration, and we encourage our guest to take advantage of dressing up, this is more relaxed than black tie. The ceremony will take place on grass, but the remainder of the event will be inside where the temperature will be controlled.
October in South Carolina can be absolutely beautiful, the leafs are changing and the summer heat has calmed. We are expecting the temperature during the ceremony to be in the low to mid 70s, with everything cooling off by the end of the night. Of course we won’t know for sure until closer to the wedding. We will keep you updated here.
We are happy to have Boulevard Catering, a Clemson establishment, catering for us. The menu has not been completed but will include two entrees and several delicious sides. We will serve dinner buffet style immediately following the ceremony. Drinks are on us! We want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day; please let us know when you RSVP any dietary restrictions.
Parking is available at the venue, a sign will direct you upon your entrance. However, we encourage anyone enjoying spirits to use car services to and from the venue. If you indulge more than expected during the reception, you can leave your car at the venue but MUST pick it up before 8 am on Saturday.
We are not taking added steps to protect against Covid-19 except to provide our guests with a clean environment. Of course, we ask if you feel any symptoms in the days leading up to the wedding that you get tested and excuse yourself if you test positive. Otherwise, it is your choice to wear a mask.
If you have any other questions, please direct them to the Bride; she will be happy to answer them until the week of the wedding. As of October 8th, 2022 all questions may be directed to the Mother of the Bride. A day of contact will be added closer to the date of the wedding.
