FAQs

Question

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

There are numerous destination companies that will get you safely to the resort. We recommend Amstar. You can schedule a private, round-trip transfer on their website www.amstardmc.com.

Question

How far is the resort from the airport?

Answer

The hotel is located thirty-minutes from Cancun's International Airport.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Essentials include lightweight clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable shoes, prescription and OTC medicine. Cash (dollar bills are best) for tipping. Some restaurants require men to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Don't forget your wedding attire and any personal items you may need.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Ocean Elegance Our vow renewal celebration will take place outdoors, overlooking the beautiful beach at Hyatt Ziva Cancun. We want everyone to feel comfortable, festive and fabulous - think beachy elegance. All tropical or bright colors encouraged. Let's celebrate in style. Ladies: Flowy dresses, sundresses, jumpsuits, dressy resort wear or lightweight skirts are perfect. Gentlemen: Linen shirts, dressy short-sleeve shirts, lightweight dress pants are great choices. Think relaxed, polished and cool. No need for ties unless you love them! Overall vibe: Easy, breezy, beach chic. Dress up enough to feel special, but relaxed enough to dance under the stars!

Question

Can I drink local water?

Answer

We recommend not to drink faucet/tap water, the resort will provide filtered and bottled water at all time. Water and ice cubes served at all resort venues are always filtered and safe to drink.

Question

Are cabanas available for rent?

Answer

Double Deck beach cabanas may be reserved at additional cost, please visit E-Concierge to learn more.

Question

Should we bring a gift?

Answer

We feel so blessed that you chose to spend your time and money to join us in Cancun. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. No gifts, please.
