Holly spotted Peter across a crowded bar and quickly sent friend, and fellow Multnomah Athletic Club member, Leanne, to get the scoop. That didnt quite work, and the story almost ended there. But the pair soon connected on social media, and again in person at the MAC. After their first date, Peter knew he had found something special.

After getting Holly’s mom’s permission, Peter planned a proposal at Arch Cape, steps away from the creek he played in as a child. With Ivy and Georgie barking nearby, he popped the question and she said YES! Another surprise: Peter’s mom and her husband Paul captured the entire event on camera and film, hidden behind a nearby log.

When Peter and Holly aren't gazing lovingly into each other's eyes, they are spoiling their two corgi pups, Ivy and Georgie. The couple has bonded over pampering their pups, exploring new dog parks, dog training, and scooping poop.
