Meet Our Wedding Party

Ryan Blackiston

Best Man

I’ve known this guy my entire life—literally from day one. My older brother, my first best friend, and the person who’s been by my side through every season of life. Growing up, we did everything together—backyard games, family vacations, late-night talks, and all the quiet in-between moments that only siblings really understand. He’s always been my steady presence, the one who pushed me, protected me, and showed me what it means to show up for the people you love. He’s helped shape who I am in more ways than I can count, and I carry the lessons he’s taught me with me every day. Having him by my side as I take this next big step just feels right—because he’s been there all along

Kaitlyn Silvia

Maid of Honor

Kaitlyn and I have only been friends for a few years, but from the start, it felt like we’d known each other forever—or at least long enough to blackmail each other with embarrassing stories. She’s the kind of friend who shows up, holds you together, and never asks for credit. She’s sweet, loyal, hilarious, and one of the most dependable people in my life..basically the human version of a weighted blanket. But unlike most maid of honors, she won’t be giving a speech. Not because she doesn’t love me (she absolutely does), but because public speaking is her version of skydiving without a parachute. So if you’re waiting for her to grab the mic—don’t. She’ll be the one subtly hiding behind a flower arrangement. Even without a speech, her presence says it all: I couldn’t do this life without her. And I wouldn't want to.

Devin Shields

Groomsman

I met Devin a few years ago working together at the Woodbury Police Department. We quickly became the kind of friends who roast each other nonstop but still have each other’s backs when it counts. Then, just when I started to get use to Devin, he up and left me behind—literally moving to a different department and leaving me wondering if he ever really liked me or just needed a new lunch buddy. The betrayal still stings… but luckily, we kept the friendship alive (mostly through sarcastic texts and inside jokes). Despite getting “left behind,” Devin has proven himself to be loyal, hilarious, and exactly the kind of friend you want standing with you on your wedding day. Plus, he’s a total goofball who’s always down for a good time — so buckle up, it’s going to be a fun ride.

Keira Renshaw

Bridesmaid

Some of you might be thinking, “Wait… she has a sister?” And to that I say: yes, I do. Her name is Keira. She’s real. She’s not a paid actress for the wedding. She just tends to fly under the radar, like a WiFi signal in a brick basement. But to me, she’s everything. Over the years, and especially recently, Keira and I have been getting closer, and I’ve loved every minute of it (even the ones where we’re just silently sitting next to each other). Watching her grow into the strong, hilarious, and unapologetically herself person she is becoming makes me so proud I could burst. Like, ugly-cry proud. She might not be loud, she might not be in every photo, and some of you might still think she’s a wedding guest I hired off Craigslist—but she is my sister, my heart, and truly one of my favorite humans on this planet.
