Grandmother of the Groom
My grandmother has been in my life supporting me and all of my cousins through all of our high school endeavors and now into our adult lives. She is a kind, wonderful woman who still gets out to spend time with all of her grandchildren.
Grandparents of the Bride
Also known as Granny B and PawPaw Jack, these wonderful people graciously adopted me into the family when my dad married their daughter and are so excited to adopt my new kids into their family when I marry their father too.
Sister of the Groom
Tiffany and Salvador have been there for me whenever I have needed them and is always willing to watch her nieces and nephews. I'm thankful she is my sister and Salvador is my brother-in-law.
Parents of the Bride
My mom and her husband live between Branson and Springfield, Missouri and I am very grateful that they will be able to come down and support us during this time. When the kids first met them, my mom instantly fell in love and I am extremely thankful that she was so great with them and so excited to be a grandma right off the bat. My mother is also an amazing cook and is making my wedding cake for us.
Sister of the Groom
Teresa has always been a friend I can turn to, an ear that is willing to listen, and just a wonderful sister. She is always so excited to see her nieces and nephews. I am so thankful that she is my sister.
Brother of the Bride
I have always said this is my most favorite kid in the entire world, and now he is practically a teenager. He is a straight 'A' student who loves playing soccer and competitive football. He also has always been really good with little kids and it has been really apparent this year as he has been a great Uncle Jesse to my four little ones. "I love you from the East to the West - I Win!"
Parents of the Groom
Mike and Tina have been beyond amazing to me, welcoming me into the family and I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for us and the kids, especially this past year. You guys have been absolutely awesome. (You may hear the the kids call them Mimi and Poppy.) -April
Parents of the Bride
My father has always been my support and comfort whenever I was sick, hurt, or feeling depressed. When I got engaged, he was the first person I wanted to tell.
Ring Bearer
We love this kid so much. He has such a sweet personality when he wants to. He is so smart and charming and watching him solve problems is so much fun. He will turn 9 years old just 3 days after the wedding. Don't worry, we have promised him a great birthday party for him and his friends for the next weekend. ;)
Flower Girl
Emma is such a great big sister. She is so caring and creative. She is excited to learn new things and loves to be with her family. She first started calling me her "second mommy" back in January (long before we even thought of telling the kids about marriage), and has melted my heart since the beginning. She turned 7 years old this summer.
Ring Bearer
Kaden is the biggest teddy bear and cuddler you can possibly imagine. He wants to play with everyone for any reason and he just wants to be loved. With his little glasses and hands always up asking to be held, you just can't help but to instantly fall in love with this 5 year old.
Flower Girl
Talon is a spit-fire and a bit of a sassy-pants to be the youngest at 4 years old. She loves to get her way and absolutely loves to participate in everything with her older brothers and sister despite her size and age. She is so smart and has the most infectious giggly laugh.
Best Man
There are so many things I could say about my father. He has always been the person I've leaned on most and was the person I was the most excited to tell about April. I honestly can't say that I've had any better friends than him in my life. He is honest and caring, always giving his advice, and never being completely angry when I haven't followed it. His opinion is one of the few that actually matters to me and that I often seek. I can literally say I wouldn't be where I am with out his friendship and support.
Maid of Honor
My sister, my best friend. Like there was ever any other choice. Though honestly I think she is more excited to be Aunt Katie than anything else. ;) I love that she and Michael already get along so well though. They already fight like brother and sister...
Grandparents of the Bride
While I am deeply saddened that my grandmother will only be joining us via Skype on our special day (due to health reasons and she lives 5 hours away), I am overjoyed that my grandfather has agreed to help escort me down the aisle. While I have always had a great relationship with my father, I have lived with my grandparents nearly half my childhood and he has taught me so very much. This is a picture of them on their 50th wedding anniversary. They have taught me a lot about love and marriage.
