Because Starved Rock is a state facility, masks are required in all indoor common areas. We ask that our guests wear masks at all times when indoors, unless seated and eating or taking photos. Please bring your own masks. We will have some disposable masks available. The venue will be at 50% capacity, with plenty of room to spread out, as well as access to outdoor patio space. We will not be requiring proof of vaccination, but for your safety and the safety of all our guests, we strongly encourage you to get vaccinated. If you or someone in close contact has recently tested positive for COVID, we ask for you to stay home to limit potential spread to others.
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, button-ups, jackets (if you prefer) and slacks. Our ceremony will be outdoors, weather-permitting, so wear something you wouldn't mind being outside in for a short period of time.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5. It'll be a short one, but you won't want to miss it! Please allow enough time for finding the venue and grabbing a seat. The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting, and there will be signs to point you the correct location.
Yes! Though you should keep an eye on them, because we will literally be on a cliff.
We will be having a buffet-style dinner with plenty of options for customizing your meal, but if you have any specific dietary restrictions, allergies, or concerns please let us know!
Sure! Just be sure to include them in your response when it's RSVP time. If you have any questions please reach out to us!
Check out the "Registry" tab at the top of the page if you feel so inclined! But truly, your presence is gift enough.
Good question! For now we're keeping our last names as they are, so "Lauren Blackburn" and "Andrew Fishel".
