Backstory: The first time I came down to visit My sister’s family after she moved to Oklahoma, I was introduced to this beautiful overlook! Cavanal Hill, the highest hill recorded! It is just shy of being a whole mountain guys! It has a beautiful deck area that you can stand on and look out over the town below. Flash forward to Ricky’s first time down: I also took him to this hill, but instead of just staying on the deck he wanted to take a walk around the top! We only went so far, I was pregnant with MJ back then but he fell in love with it just as quickly as I did! He also loves heights and all that good nonsense lol! NOW to our Engagement story! We went to visit my sister, and of course we have to make a trip up to our favorite overlook! This time when we took our walk we went a bit farther even found a small pond up there! During this walk we talked about how the last 3 years have flown by, and how we couldn’t believe all we accomplished as a couple and parents. That We never knew playing softball all those years together, on the same field, side by side that we would end up together but we are so glad we did. As we walked back to the deck my sister met up with me to talk about what other plans we had for the day and during this time he slipped away and got his shirt on. As my sister and I walk back, I noticed everyone in black and that was when Ricky turned around and dropped to one knee to ask me to Marry him. In good Maggie fashion I asked “What if I say No?” Considering the shirt already said yes lol Ricky popped off with “Then you don’t get your T shirt!” Well I got my T shirt! And I said Yesss!
