Waaay back in 2015, Bj and Kelsey met at the local community college and had Chemistry together (literally, hehe). Kelsey was a senior in high school and Bj was a sophomore in college. They went on a study date and ended up talking more than studying! After the final (both of us got an A, despite our lack of studying), Kelsey waited outside of the class, hoping to run into Bj. When he came out, they talked until his shift at Publix started. Bj showed Kelsey how his Buick could start remotely, and of course Kelsey was fascinated. Bj took FIVE DAYS to text Kelsey, but it was worth the wait. On their first date, Bj picked up Kelsey from her parent's house. Kelsey did not tell her parents of this date, and of course her mom was picking weeds out front. When Bj arrived, Kelsey's mom was skeptical, but Bj got out of the car and introduced himself. Kelsey came RUNNING outside (as she was watching from the window) and said "BYE MOM!". They went to the beach, and when Bj sung Kesha in the car, Kelsey knew that she was hooked. Since then, they went to USF together in Tampa and both got their Electrical Engineering degrees. In 2018, they moved to Orlando to work at Lockheed Martin. In 2021, they bought their first house together in Clermont, and have been loving it! On October 17, 2024, Bj popped the biggest question at Bryce Canyon in Utah at sunrise, "Will you marry me?" with the biggest smile on his face and all the nerves, and Kelsey mirrored it. He said he knew it was the right moment when Kelsey said "Wow the sky is so pretty" (Kelsey loves staring at the sky). Kelsey screamed out to the canyon "WE'RE ENGAGED!!". Following that, a random lady took a photoshoot (Kelsey loved, BJ tolerated) for 45 minutes! We have those on our gallery and cherish them. On January 16, 2025, Bj and Kelsey celebrated their 10th anniversary and are still as happy and in love as ever. We can't wait to continue our love story, continue to grow and start on our next adventure. We can't wait to celebrate our 11th anniversary with all of you!
