Things To Do

The area we live in and are getting married in offers so many different kinds of activities. Here are some of our own personal suggestions. If you have something different in mind, please let us know and we will get you the information.
Tri States Monument

Tri States Monument

East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771
, (845) 858-4000

This Monument was placed in 1882, and serves as the northern end of New Jersey's boundary with Pennsylvania, and the northwest end of the New York/New Jersey boundary line - where the Neversink and Delaware Rivers converge. It sits at waters edge at the southwestern edge of a peninsula. The 3 lines cut designate the state boundaries of NY, NJ, and PA.

Hiking, Fishing & Kayaking the Delaware River

Hiking, Fishing & Kayaking the Delaware River

Montague, NJ

There are several options in any of the three states (NJ, NY, PA) to go kayaking, fishing, hiking, etc. One of the entry points to the river is down the street from Cedar Ridge Campground. See Brooke or Jim for more details.

High Point Monument

High Point Monument

Montague Township, NJ 07827

High Point is a mountain peak within High Point State Park on the border of Wantage Township and Montague Township, Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. Located in the portion of the state known as the Skylands, it is the highest elevation in the state, with a peak elevation of 1,803 feet.

Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery

Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery

114 Little York Road, Warwick, NY 10990
, (845) 258-4858

Our manicured grounds, gardens, and orchards span over 120 acres. We are the proud creators of the award-winning and New York’s original cider, Doc’s Cider. We are home to the first distillery in NYS since prohibition, American Fruits. We are the creators of the SFWSC Double Gold winning Black Dirt Bourbon. We offer a critically acclaimed wine collection, and we make a mean sangria and excellent cocktails. Our food is sourced locally, and we offer a gourmet farm-to-table style cuisine. We have great musicians that play here every weekend, and we offer 4 music festivals during the summer months. We are authentic. We are fun. You will have a good time here.

Crater Lake

Crater Lake

Walpack Township, NJ 07851

Crater Lake is glacial lake left behind after the Wisconsin Glacier retreated from this area about twenty-two thousand years ago. This beautiful setting attracted developers and in the mid-1900s, this was a budding vacation community. Today, the Crater Lake Trail loops around the lake through the ridge-top forest. To extend the hike, a half-mile trail connects to the Hemlock Pond Trail and on to Blue Mountain Lake Trail, or hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Because the inner-connecting road traces can be confusing, a trail map is recommended.

Skydive Sussex

Skydive Sussex

55 County Road 639, Sussex, NJ 07461
, (973) 702-7000

Our close knit group of Instructors, Videographers, Riggers and Packers have all worked hard since we opened to ensure our first time jumpers, student skydivers and their families have a "once in a lifetime" experience at Skydive Sussex. They are always willing to take the time to chat and share their experiences with you. Make sure to stop one of them and ask why THEY jump. I think you'll find that they're all passionate about what they do and are willing to share their stories. We are proud to have home grown instructors that care about making your experience special. Although they are from all walks of life, they have 1 thing in common; their passion for the sky!

Space Farms: Zoo & Museum

Space Farms: Zoo & Museum
