Valley Forge Park
Explore Valley Forge Park! Our favorite park is beautiful (especially in the fall) and is full of history. Hike the trails and explore on your own, or stop by the visitors center for the free audio tour that can be played in your car while driving through the park. This audio tour takes you to landmarks around the park and explains their historical significance. Our favorite spots-George Washington's House (where you can touch the same banister that he did) as well as Artillery Park (which has beautiful views and is where BJ proposed).
Phoenixville
This is where we live! Come and walk the town. Breweries, wineries, a distillery, restaurants, shops, and a river nearby! There is something for everyone and you will always always find some kind of event going on. Some of our favorite spots include Root Down Brewing, Browns Cow, Great American Pub, Threads Marketplace, Vecchia Pizzeria, Bluebird Distillery, and Stable 12 Brewing Company. If you're in the mood to relax and get away, take a walk on the Schuylkill River Trail which goes right through town along French Creek and over to the Schuylkill River. On Saturday mornings, there is an awesome farmer's market under the bridge until 12. If you're up early after the wedding, come and check it out!
Philadelphia
Take a trip into Philadelphia (about 45 minutes away) and do what you please. Our recommendation, check out China Town (our favorite restaurant is Chubby Cattle) and then take a stroll to Love Park.
King of Prussia Mall
If the weather is rainy or you just enjoy shopping, you will find everything you need at the very large King of Prussia Mall. This mall features high end stores and is surrounded by many restaurants.
