FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, please note that our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please make us aware of your allergy as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

+1s are allowed on a limited basis. Please reach out if you would like to bring a date.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Please anticipate an outdoor ceremony. A secondary indoor location will be set up in the event of rain. Don't forget a jacket for the cool mountain air!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Because our bridal party will be dressed in black, we kindly ask that guests reserve this color for the wedding party only. To help our photos pop and keep the focus on the bridal party, please choose something other than black (or white) when picking your outfit. Some ideas you might consider: -Jewel tones (emerald, sapphire, ruby) -Soft pastels (blush, lavender, mint) -Bright pops of color (coral, mustard, teal) -Metallic accents (gold, silver, rose gold) Thank you so much for helping us create a beautiful, coordinated look for our special day!

Question

How do I get to the ceremony site?

Answer

We’ll board a private chairlift from the Base Lodge. The ride takes about 8 minutes.

Question

What if I'm afraid of heights?

Answer

We totally understand! The lift is modern and the ride is gentle and smooth. Operators will load and unload guests at a slow pace, and can slow or stop the lift as needed. Here's a few tips to make the ride easier: -Sit toward the middle of the lift seat to help you feel more secure. -Lower the safety bar immediately after boarding—this gives an extra sense of enclosure. -Face forward and focus on the scenery, or chat with a friend to take your mind off the height. -Wear sturdy shoes so you feel balanced getting on and off. Bags will be provided to store a change of shoes, if desired. -Let the attendant know before you board if you’d like them to slow the lift for an extra-mild start.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving to the venue 90 minutes before the ceremony, so plan to be there around 2:30 PM. This will give you plenty of time to park, check in, and settle in before the ski lift ride to the ceremony.

Question

May guests use cell phones/cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests refrain from using cell phones, cameras or other electronic devices during our ceremony. To help maintain a quiet and intimate atmosphere, please ensure all devices are turned off or silenced. Our professional photographer will capture everything - we look forward to sharing these memories with you after!
