In our completely unbiased opinion, it's Deep River's best beach. Don't ask Margaret Couling.

Deep River Yacht and Tennis Club

Book a court at the Deep River Shoreline Sports Club for a round of tennis or pickleball! Day passes are $15 and can be purchased by making a guest account through the attached link. Equipment rentals are not available (to our knowledge), but let us know if you would like to borrow tennis rackets from us for the day.

The Chutes

The Chutes

46.20991º N, 77.69800º W, Rapides-des-Joachims, QC J0X 3M0, Canada

For the more adventurous among you, the Chutes are located approximately 20 minutes out of town. How to get there: Drive to Rapides-des-Joachims (a tiny Quebecois town known locally as Swisha)--it will be right after crossing the blue bridge. Once you enter Swisha, keep going, keep right, and you will eventually cross a second bridge. Park in the lot, follow signs for the Chutes, and don't slip! If you climb down to the bottom of the Chutes (past the rapids), it is generally safe to swim, but it will be at your own risk! (you got this.) It is possible that you will have to pay a $10 access fee, but it is rarely (if ever) enforced.

For all the days along the way
