The Ardilaun Hotel
This is the hotel where we will be hosting our wedding reception and reccomend our guests to stay at least the night of the wedding. Apparently, Irish weddings go until the 'wee hours of the mornin' so a short walk down the hall to sleep after drinking and dancing is ideal! We are given 25 rooms for our room block at the discounted rate, but have potential to add more. Unfortunately, you have to call the hotel to receive the wedding rate and mention 'Sarah & Bobby's Wedding'. They will ask for a credit card number to hold the room. You can choose to book online, but would not get the discounted wedding rate. Parking at the hotel is free if you choose to rent a car.

Irish Rail
Don't want to drive? There is a train from Dublin Heuston station to the center of Galway (Ceannt). The train ride is about 2.5hrs and about $15/ticket.
Flight
Dublin Airport
Dublin is the major airport in Ireland, but about a 2.5hr train ride or 2hr drive from Galway.

Shannon Airport
Shannon is closer to Galway, but flights may be more costly to this location. It is about a 1hr drive from Shannon Airport to Galway City.
